The Surprise Party

I knocked on the door and waited. I felt nervous because it was my best friend Alex's birthday surprise party. While I was standing there, I heard someone quietly walking inside.

His mum opened the door and let me in. The house was dark and silent. I saw all my friends; they were hiding behind the big sofa and curtains. I quickly found a place to hide. Just as I was hiding, I heard Alex opening the front door. He switched on the light.

"SURPRISE!" we all shouted loudly. He looked completely shocked, but then he started smiling. It was a fantastic party.

Я постукав у двері і чекав. Я почувався нервово, бо це була вечірка-сюрприз на день народження мого найкращого друга Алекса. Поки я стояв там, я почув, як хтось тихо йде всередині.

Його мама відчинила двері й впустила мене. У будинку було темно й тихо. Я побачив усіх своїх друзів; вони ховалися за великим диваном та шторами. Я швидко знайшов місце, щоб сховатися. Саме тоді, як я ховався, я почув, як Алекс відчиняє вхідні двері. Він увімкнув світло.

«СЮРПРИЗ!» – закричали ми всі голосно. Він виглядав абсолютно шокованим, але потім почав усміхатися. Це була фантастична вечірка.
