20. Seeing is believing

p81ex1(R). Look at the picture. What can you see? Do you think everything in the picture is real? What do you think is real or not real?

I can see a man sitting on a street and holding a hose. There is water on the road, a hose reel, some cars and a few people in the background.

I don’t think everything in the picture is real. The man, the street, the cars and the people are real. However, the water and the drain look like a 3D drawing on the pavement. It is probably street art that creates an optical illusion.

The picture is very creative and interesting.

Я бачу чоловіка, який сидить на вулиці та тримає шланг. На дорозі є вода, котушка зі шлангом, автомобілі та кілька людей на задньому плані.

Я не думаю, що все на цій картинці справжнє. Чоловік, вулиця, автомобілі та люди є справжніми. Проте вода і зливна решітка виглядають як об’ємний малюнок на асфальті. Ймовірно, це вуличне мистецтво, яке створює оптичну ілюзію.

Ця картина дуже креативна та цікава.
