p. 87, ex. 1. a) Read the letter and answer the questions below.

1. Mrs Rolland thinks that it is hard to be a good teacher because she has to teach her subject well and take care of her pupils.

2. Mrs Rolland likes her job very much.

3. She likes her job because most children are so warm, smart and interesting.

4. Those kids who are aggressive or who aren’t interested in anything are hard to teach. She solves the problem by keeping them busy.

b) Give your opinion on the following questions.

It is hard to be a teacher because a teacher gives too much energy to his pupils and still some of them are not grateful.
I think that teachers like their jobs because they have interesting and smart pupils every year. They know what they work for.

1. Пані Ролланд вважає, що важко бути хорошим учителем, тому що вона повинна добре викладати свій предмет та піклуватися про своїх учнів.

2. Місіс Ролланд дуже любить свою роботу.

б) Висловіть свою думку щодо наступних питань.

Важко бути вчителем, тому що вчитель дає занадто багато енергії своїм учням, але деякі з них не вдячні.
Я думаю, що вчителям подобається їх робота, тому що вони щороку мають цікавих та розумних учнів. Вони знають, для чого працюють.
