p. 93, ex. 3. a) Look at the pages of ‘Buzz’, a school newspaper. Find a letter about each of the topics below (1-3).

3. parent pressure; 2. bulling; 1. mobile phones in school.

b) Read the letters and say if you agree with what they say.

1. I think that all the pupils should leave their mobile phones in a special place at school and take them back after the lessons. They will be more concentrated on their studying.

2. I think that such bullies should be ignored by all other pupils and they will feel that they are wrong. I do not think that teachers or parents will help in this situation.

3. I agree that we study for ourselves and our parents should pay more attention to our knowledge but not our grades. But pupils should remember about their future and try their best to get good education.

1. Я вважаю, що всі учні повинні залишити мобільні телефони в спеціальному місці в школі і забрати їх після уроків. Вони будуть більш зосереджені на навчанні.

2. Я думаю, що всі інші учні повинні ігнорувати таких хуліганів, і вони відчують, що вони помиляються. Я не думаю, що вчителі чи батьки допоможуть у цій ситуації.

3. Я погоджуюся, що ми вчимося для себе, і батьки повинні приділяти більше уваги нашим знанням, але не оцінкам. Але учні повинні пам’ятати про своє майбутнє і докладати максимум зусиль, щоб здобути хорошу освіту.
