2. Who are the main characters? → Henry, Bill and some wolves. / Хто головні герої? → Генрі, Білл і кілька вовків.

3. Are the animals friendly or unfriendly? → The dogs are friendly and the wolves are unfriendly. / Тварини доброзичливі чи непривітні? → Собаки дружні, а вовки непривітні.

4. What will happen? → The wolves will kill Bill. / Що станеться? → Вовки вб’ють Білла.

1. What was the weather like? → It was cold and icy. / Яка була погода? → Було холодно і морозно.

2. How many dogs did Henry and Bill have when they started on their journey? → Six. / Скільки собак було у Генрі та Білла, коли вони вирушили в подорож? → Шість.

3. Why was the she-wolf different? → Because she was half dog, half wolf and wasn’t scared of the humans. / Чому вовчиця була іншою? → Тому що вона була наполовину собакою, наполовину вовком і не боялася людей.

4. What happened when one of the dogs ran towards the she-wolf? → About twelve wolves jumped out of the bushes, attacked the dog and started biting its neck and legs. / Що сталося, коли одна з собак побігла до вовчиці? → Близько дванадцяти вовків вискочили з кущів, напали на собаку та почали кусати її за шию та ноги.

5. Why did Henry think Bill was crazy to chase the wolves? → Because he had only three bullets. / Чому Генрі подумав, що Білл божевільний, щоб погнатися за вовками? → Тому що в нього було лише три кулі.

6. What happened to Bill? → He didn’t return, so the wolves probably killed him. / Що сталося з Біллом? → Він не повернувся, тож, ймовірно, вовки його вбили.
